WestJet Cargo will introduce its new Priority product on November 4, 2024, providing top priority for cargo loading and transport. This service is aimed at industries needing quick, reliable delivery of critical goods, featuring shorter cut-off times at major hubs like Calgary, Vancouver, and Toronto, which will be reduced to 2 hours for narrowbody flights and 3 hours for widebody flights. If a Priority shipment fails to fly as scheduled, the charge will be refunded. The initiative aims to enhance logistics efficiency, particularly for the healthcare sector, while expanding WestJet’s extensive cargo network.
