In late August, WestJet Cargo collaborated with the Canadian Animal Assistance Team (CAAT) to support a veterinary mission in Pangnirtung, Nunavut. They transported 12 cases of medical supplies from Vancouver to Ottawa, facilitating a smooth transfer to the remote community. CAAT’s mobile clinics provide essential veterinary care in underserved areas, while also developing long-term animal welfare strategies with local leaders. WestJet Cargo ensured timely delivery of supplies, emphasizing the importance of access to veterinary care, and expressing pride in supporting CAAT’s impactful work.
