This certification reinforces the airport’s status as a reliable cargo hub in Europe, as noted by joint CEO Julian Jäger, who emphasized the importance of expanding service offerings while minimizing risks in air cargo. Senior Vice President Michael Zach highlighted that the certification reflects the airport’s success in adhering to the highest standards, crucial amid the growing demand for lithium battery shipments.
