Vienna Airport experienced a strong start to 2025, processing 73,280 tonnes of cargo in the first quarter, an 8% increase from the previous year. April continued this trend with 26,999 tonnes, up 13% year-over-year. A key contributor to this growth was belly cargo, which saw a 16% rise in Q1 and a 17% increase in April. Additionally, the airport’s Pharma Handling Center managed 913 tonnes, marking a 3% increase. Import volumes grew modestly by 1%, while exports surged by 16%, highlighting Vienna Airport’s role as a vital logistics hub connecting Europe to global markets.
