URBN is investing $52.5 million to enhance its logistics capabilities, focusing on its Raymore, Missouri fulfillment center for its rental clothing brand, Nuuly. This investment follows a previous five-year, $60 million plan for the facility and aims to upgrade automation and expand storage to accommodate up to 400,000 subscribers. The new automation technology, set to launch in early 2024, will improve fulfillment efficiency and reduce costs, particularly benefiting subscribers in the South and West Coast. The facility is expected to serve 50% of active subscribers by the end of 2024.
