Titan Aircraft Investments, a collaboration between Titan Aviation Holdings and Bain Capital, has acquired two Boeing 777 freighters from Carlyle Aviation Partners, currently leased to Ethiopian Cargo. These aircraft will enhance Titan’s modern fleet to meet rising global airfreight demand. The deal reflects Titan’s dedication to supporting air cargo and e-commerce sectors with efficient aircraft. Eamonn Forbes, a senior executive at Titan, highlighted the acquisition’s alignment with their strategy to expand freighter services and praised Carlyle’s role in the process. Established in 2019, Titan aims to build a diverse freighter leasing portfolio exceeding $1 billion.
