Three decades ago, I began my shipping career in Mumbai, which left a lasting impression on me. Recently, after a week discussing APM Terminals’ investment plans in India, I reflected on the country’s role in global trade and the potential for growth through logistics and infrastructure development. Celebrating our commitment at the naming event for the Albert Maersk vessel highlighted India’s significance to APM Terminals, where we employ about 20,000 people. Our focus is on reducing logistics costs and supporting local economies, aligning with India’s vision for sustainable growth and development.
