The Scarborough Energy Project has reached a key milestone with the arrival of the final Pluto Train 2 modules at the Pluto LNG facility in Karratha, Australia, moving closer to its goal of first LNG production in 2026. A total of 51 modules, weighing 56,000 metric tonnes, were shipped from Indonesia. The expanded facility will process approximately 5 million tonnes of LNG per year and supply significant domestic gas. The project, executed by Woodside and Bechtel, is over three-quarters complete, and it is expected to generate over A$50 billion in taxes and create thousands of jobs.
