The Bilbao Port Authority will present its logistics services for fruit and vegetables at Fruit Logistica 2024. In the past year, the Port of Bilbao managed approximately 3 million tonnes of goods, including 107,000 tonnes of fruit, benefiting from its strategic location and strong links to various European markets. The port features an advanced Border Control Post with modern refrigeration and an efficient online platform for operational coordination. Additionally, the Port Authority is enhancing sustainability efforts, notably through a project to electrify port terminals, supported by a significant European grant.
