Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) has welcomed five new cargo carriers, further establishing its role as a global air cargo hub. The newcomers—Awesome Cargo Airlines, Central Airlines, ASL Air Cargo, Aerologic Air Cargo, and CMA CGM Air Cargo—are part of ANC’s strategic expansion plan. Governor Mike Dunleavy emphasized the importance of these additions for enhancing cargo operations. ANC has seen a 4.9% increase in cargo activity from FY23 to FY24, with further growth anticipated. This expansion reinforces Anchorage’s significance in global logistics and trade.
