The ASC, established in 2015 to address rising costs beyond the company’s control, relies on a flexible index system for adjustments. Swiss WorldCargo aims for a net CO2 balance by 2050 and a 50% reduction in emissions by 2030, focusing on sustainable practices and investment in an eco-friendly fleet. Their ‘Green Choice’ service allows customers to combine SAF with climate protection projects, promoting sustainable air transport. However, a significant increase in SAF supply and a decrease in prices are necessary for its broader adoption.
