Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) has appointed Alain Chisari as the new head of its Swiss WorldCargo airfreight division, effective October 1, 2024. Chisari, who has been with SWISS since 2008, will oversee the division’s operations and strategy, succeeding Lorenzo Stoll, who has chosen to leave for a new role in the healthcare sector. With extensive experience in the airline industry, including roles at SWISS and Lufthansa, Chisari is expected to advance the air cargo business effectively. He holds an Executive Master’s Degree and is multilingual.
