The United States Postal Service (USPS) announced that starting January 1, it will cease offering discounted rates through negotiated service agreements (NSAs) for packages entered by consolidators at Post Office delivery units. This shift aligns with USPS’s new strategic approach and aims to enhance its USPS Ground Advantage product, which provides delivery services within two to five days for packages up to 70 pounds. Postmaster General Louis DeJoy emphasized the need for mutually beneficial agreements with consolidators, marking this decision as a significant step toward improving operational efficiency and financial stability.
