STARLUX Airlines from Taiwan has finalized agreements with Airbus and Rolls-Royce for five additional A350F freighter aircraft, expanding its cargo fleet to ten A350Fs, with deliveries starting in 2027. This move enhances STARLUX’s status as a major A350F customer and reflects its confidence in the cargo market’s growth. CEO Glenn Chai emphasized the airline’s commitment to the cargo sector and the A350F’s efficiency and environmental benefits, aligning with STARLUX’s goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. The A350F can carry up to 111 tonnes and boasts significant fuel and carbon emission reductions.
