SmartLynx Airlines Cargo made its inaugural stop at Navoi International Airport in Uzbekistan on September 17, as part of a cargo route connecting Dhaka, Bangladesh, to Lodz, Poland, with a stop in Varna, Bulgaria. The service utilized an A321F cargo aircraft, and SmartLynx plans more flights on this route, including refueling and crew changes in Navoi. Recently, Harris Manolopoulos was appointed as the new Director of Fleet, overseeing a fleet of 69 aircraft, with plans to add a 14th A321P2F by year’s end. Captain Carlos Marcelo Cardenas Becerra praised the team’s efforts in launching this challenging route.
