Schneider, a freight transportation and logistics provider based in Green Bay, Wisconsin, plans to launch a new intermodal service next month, facilitating continuous freight rail service connecting Mexico and Texas with the Southeast U.S. This initiative follows the recent connection between CSX and CPKC, enabled by approvals from the Surface Transportation Board, set to take effect on November 16. Schneider aims to enhance service for shippers transitioning from traditional over-the-road options, linking growing markets in Mexico and Texas with Florida and Georgia, while promoting efficiency and reliability in supply chains.
