Scan Global Logistics (SGL) has announced an agreement to acquire ITN Logistics Group, a prominent Canadian freight forwarder. This acquisition aims to enhance SGL’s operations in Canada by increasing scale, locations, and market share. SGL’s Global CEO, Allan Melgaard, emphasized the strategic importance of this move, highlighting the alignment of values between the two companies. ITN, based in the Toronto area with over 250 employees, generated over C$170 million in revenue last year. The deal is pending anti-trust approval and is expected to close in Q1 2025.
