The Rhenus Group has become an official Halal Certified Logistics Provider in Indonesia, enhancing the safety and reliability of transporting halal products amidst growing demand. The halal sector is projected to surpass $5 trillion by 2030, with mandatory halal certification for all food products in Indonesia enforced by the Ministry of Religious Affairs. This new certification adds to Rhenus Indonesia’s existing licenses, and the company anticipates a 15% growth in handling halal commodities this year. Managing Director Fabian Kieble highlighted the importance of aligning operations with the local economy and offering tailored solutions across various industries.
