Radia, the creator of the WindRunner cargo aircraft, has partnered with the U.S. Department of Defense to assess the aircraft’s potential for national defense logistics and the oversized cargo market. The WindRunner, measuring 356 feet in length with a wingspan of 261 feet, is designed for remote operations and can carry oversized cargo efficiently. The collaboration will simulate real-world scenarios to evaluate its performance and potential integration with military logistics. Notably, Radia has appointed retired Generals Minihan and Bibb to guide its defense initiatives, emphasizing the alignment of commercial aviation with national security.
