On January 21, 2025, the Port Management Association for Eastern & Southern Africa (PMAESA), led by Secretary General Col. Andre Ciseau, established a partnership with the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE). This collaboration aims to enhance sustainable energy practices and develop Green Port technologies in Eastern and Southern African ports. RCREEE, based in Cairo, facilitates clean energy initiatives across pan-Arab countries and looks forward to supporting African ports in sustainable operations. The partnership aligns with PMAESA’s strategic plan for 2024-2028.
