Pitney Bowes’ former e-commerce logistics unit will lay off over 1,200 employees in the coming months as it winds down operations. These cuts, affecting various roles across multiple U.S. facilities, come as the company, now known as DRF Logistics under Hilco Global, faces ongoing financial struggles despite investments in automated systems. Interim CEO Lance Rosenzweig emphasized that the layoffs do not reflect employee performance but are necessary to address years of unsustainable losses and to position the remaining business segments for future growth. Severance and outplacement services will be provided to affected workers.
