The final event of the Pass4Core project, aimed at enhancing safety in parking areas along key transport corridors in Italy, was held at Milano Malpensa airport. Co-financed by the European Commission, the initiative seeks to certify 1,357 parking spaces by 2025, with additional spaces planned. A newly inaugurated secure parking area for heavy vehicles spans 63,000 square meters, featuring advanced security systems and amenities. The project, with a total investment of €27.5 million, also includes a green hydrogen refueling station to promote sustainable mobility.
