In November, global air cargo demand continued to surge, marking a 13th month of double-digit growth with a 10% year-on-year increase. This growth, driven by e-commerce, coincided with a modest 2% rise in capacity, pushing spot rates to their highest levels in nearly two years at $2.90 per kilo. The dynamic load factor reached 63%, the highest in over 30 months. Industry leaders noted that improved resource management has led to stability, avoiding the chaotic “peak of all peaks” seen in 2023, fostering a more balanced air cargo market heading into the end of the year.
