Crowley reveals the recipients of the Memorial Scholarship.

California State University Maritime Academy cadets Jake Jacobsen and Jan Johnson have received Crowley’s Thomas B. Crowley Sr. Memorial Scholarships, recognizing their achievements and commitment to maritime careers. Jacobsen, a marine engineering technology student and executive officer of the 3rd Engine Division, aims for a sailing career. Junior Johnson, studying mechanical engineering, plans to graduate in 2026 and leverage his bilingual skills. Established in 1994 to honor Thomas B. Crowley Sr., the scholarship program has provided over $3 million in support for future maritime leaders since 1984.
