Silk Way Alat Free Economic Zone and Modern Construction have entered into a partnership agreement.

Silk Way Alat Free Economic Zone Company (SW AFEZCO) has entered into a design and build agreement with Modern Construction Group to develop the Silk Way Cargo Village in Azerbaijan's Alat Free Economic Zone. This significant project includes constructing a cargo terminal, an office building, and a shared freight forwarder facility. The cargo terminal, spanning 30,000 square meters, aims to enhance trade connectivity between Europe and Asia and establish Azerbaijan as a leading global logistics hub. Completion is expected by July 2026.
