LATAM Cargo Group introduces pallets made from recycled plastic.

LATAM Cargo Group is transitioning from traditional wooden and plastic pallets to more durable, eco-friendly recycled plastic pallets for its operations in Chile. This initiative supports the group's goal of zero waste to landfill by 2027. The new high-density polyethylene pallets have a lifespan of about ten years and enhance cargo safety due to their non-slip design. LATAM plans to expand this initiative nationwide and assess its implementation in other South American countries, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability and the circular economy.
