Vienna Airport handled 216,360 tonnes of cargo from January to September, marking a 20% increase from the previous year. Growth was seen in both flown and trucked air freight, with belly cargo on passenger flights rising by 45% to 90,692 tonnes. In Q3, cargo volume grew by 25% year-on-year, and September alone saw 18,094 tonnes handled, also up 25%. New flights, including Qatar Airways' weekly service to Doha, contributed to this growth.
