Menzies Aviation has obtained a ground handling license to offer passenger, ramp, and cargo services at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL), marking a significant expansion in Southeast Asia. The license, valid for 12 months, allows Menzies Aviation Malaysia, a joint venture with MMAG Holdings, to begin operations in January 2025, initially serving MJets with over 30 flights weekly. This move capitalizes on Malaysia's strategic location as a trade hub and aims to enhance aviation service quality in the region, supported by local expertise and Menzies' global network.
