Krispy Kreme is looking to enhance its use of third-party delivery services in the U.S. to distribute doughnuts to retail locations, as announced by CEO Joshua Charlesworth. The company initiated a request for proposals on October 9 to engage various delivery providers, following successful pilot programs in Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. While currently relying on in-house logistics, outsourcing could help manage costs as Krispy Kreme expands delivery to over 1,000 McDonald's locations. The aim is to ensure efficient delivery routes while maintaining quality service.
