Elbe Flugzeugwerke (EFW) and HNA Aviation Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for A330 passenger-to-freighter (P2F) conversions. The collaboration, announced at the China International Aviation and Aerospace Expo, involves EFW supporting HNA's Grand China Aircraft Maintenance Services in establishing A330P2F capabilities at Haikou's Meilan International Airport. The first conversion is planned for 2025 at EFW's Shanghai facility. This partnership aims to meet the rising demand for air cargo solutions in China and globally, amidst a recovering aviation logistics market.
