Levi Strauss & Co. has committed to achieving net-zero emissions across its supply chain by 2050, as outlined in its first climate transition plan released on October 16. The company aims for a 90% reduction in scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 2025, and a 42% reduction in scope 3 emissions by 2030, using 2022 as a baseline. Additionally, Levi's plans to utilize 100% renewable electricity in its facilities by 2025 and halve freshwater usage in high-stress areas. The plan aligns with recognized climate frameworks and will be revised every three years to address climate risks and opportunities.
