FedEx delivers two enormous pandas from Chengdu to Atlanta.

FedEx Corporation transported two giant pandas, Ping Ping and Fu Shuang, from Chengdu, China, to Zoo Atlanta aboard a FedEx Boeing 777-F, the "FedEx Panda Express." For over two decades, FedEx has collaborated with the Chinese government and zoos globally to ensure the safe transit of giant pandas, covering the full transportation cost as part of its corporate social responsibility. The pandas traveled in custom crates under Zoo Atlanta specialists' care, surrounded by bamboo and treats. Upon arrival, they began a quarantine before their public debut. FedEx has now transported 23 pandas since 2000.
