Matternet has introduced the M3, an advanced autonomous drone delivery platform aimed at revolutionizing delivery services in food, retail, healthcare, and logistics. The M3 system features dedicated micro-hubs for seamless operation without human intervention. Users can place packages in the M3 Portal, and the drone autonomously handles the delivery process. With a payload capacity of 11 pounds and a range of 10 miles, the M3 comprises the aircraft, a docking station, and a drop box. Initial partnerships include Dave’s Hot Chicken in the US and Apian in the UK, with commercial operations targeted for late 2027.
