SATS launches self-driving cargo vehicles at Changi.

SATS has launched an Autonomous Cargo Vehicle (ACV) service to facilitate cargo transport between its airfreight terminals and freight forwarders’ warehouses at Changi Airfreight Centre in Singapore. Currently undergoing live validation, the ACVs can carry up to 800 kilograms and automate point-to-point movements, with plans for higher-capacity models. This service aims to reduce reliance on traditional trucking schedules, speeding up cargo delivery. The initiative supports sustainable transportation and is part of SATS's Hub Handler of the Future programme to enhance operational efficiency.
