Cathay Cargo launches freighter services at NMIA.

Cathay Cargo has relocated its Mumbai freighter operations to Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA), starting September 21, 2026, enhancing its cargo connectivity in the region. The airline operates three dedicated freighter flights weekly from NMIA using Boeing 747 aircraft, catering to oversized and heavy cargo. This move aims to bolster Indian manufacturing and exports by linking them directly to a global network via Hong Kong. Additionally, Cathay Cargo maintains a comprehensive network across India, providing specialized handling solutions and leveraging passenger flight capacities for efficient service.
