BARIG extends a warm welcome to CMA CGM AIR CARGO.

The Board of Airline Representatives in Germany (BARIG) is expanding in the air freight sector, welcoming CMA CGM AIR CARGO as a new member. Founded in 2021, this airline is part of the CMA CGM Group, which specializes in logistics solutions. BARIG Chairman Michael Hoppe highlighted the importance of developing air cargo, noting a 1.6% increase in volume at German airports in 2025, despite challenges like high fees and administrative burdens. The new member will aid BARIG's collaboration with other associations to improve conditions for the air cargo industry, connecting Europe to Asia and America.
