CPKC is collaborating with Homes For Heroes and Veterans Community Project to support veterans facing homelessness in Canada and the U.S. During the annual Spin for a Veteran event on October 3, 2026, cyclists will ride for 12 hours to raise over $600,000. CPKC's Manager, Peter Boyle, emphasized the importance of this initiative in addressing veterans' challenges post-service. Donations made before the event will be matched by CPKC, directly aiding housing and resources for veterans, with estimates showing thousands are currently homeless in both countries.
