DHL is enhancing its global logistics network for batteries to meet the rising demands of electric mobility and energy storage. By integrating its Supply Chain, Global Forwarding, and Express services, DHL aims to streamline the entire battery supply chain, covering manufacturing, transport, and lifecycle management across over 20 sites worldwide. As the need for specialized battery logistics grows due to increasing complexity and regulatory requirements, DHL is investing in facilities and capabilities to support customers in the electrification and renewable energy sectors, with a goal to expand its New Energy business significantly by 2030.
