DHL Express reported a 16% increase in Time Definite International (TDI) shipments across Asia Pacific (excluding China) from January to July 2026, attributed to the launch of its Heavy Weight Express (HWX) service. This growth reflects rising demand for express transport of heavy, time-sensitive shipments, particularly in technology and automotive sectors. Companies are increasingly relying on express logistics to navigate supply chain uncertainties, with significant growth in heavyweight cargo movement, especially from India, the Philippines, Vietnam, Japan, and Hong Kong.
