SGL and Cycle & Carriage initiate a trial for autonomous transportation.

Scan Global Logistics (SGL) and Cycle & Carriage (C&C) have entered a Memorandum of Understanding to develop an autonomous transport solution for commercial cargo in Singapore, planning a supervised road trial for an electric autonomous vehicle in Q4 2026. The vehicle, which has passed safety and regulatory approvals, will undergo a trial lasting 3-6 months to assess its impact on operational efficiency and emissions. Both companies have previously collaborated on last-mile delivery and aim to use insights from the trial to expand autonomous transport offerings in Singapore.
