Maersk has launched a new container depot in Cameroon.

Maersk has opened a new container depot in Kribi, Cameroon, with a capacity of 1,500 TEU, as part of its strategy to enhance logistics infrastructure in Africa. This facility aims to alleviate logistics challenges, enabling better supply chain efficiency and economic growth in Cameroon. The depot offers various services, including cargo handling and customs clearance, while providing customers with enhanced visibility of their containers through digital solutions. With this addition, Maersk now operates eight depots in West Africa, emphasizing the importance of infrastructure investment to address global supply chain bottlenecks.
