Ethiopian Airlines is set to launch a new passenger route to Port Harcourt.

Ethiopian Airlines, the largest airline group in Africa, will begin scheduled passenger service to Port Harcourt, Nigeria, starting December 1, 2026. This new route, operating four times a week, enhances the airline's presence in Nigeria, its fifth destination in the country, thereby improving air connectivity between West Africa and its global network via Addis Ababa. CEO Mesfin Tasew highlighted the commitment to economic development in Nigeria, while the service aims to facilitate trade, tourism, and cultural exchanges, reinforcing the airline's long-standing presence in the region since 1960.
