DHL Supply Chain has agreed to acquire Open Market, a logistics operator in Colombia, to enhance its regional presence and specialized logistics capabilities, particularly in life sciences and healthcare. This move aligns with DHL Group's Strategy 2030, aimed at expanding its life sciences logistics business. The acquisition will integrate Open Market’s 21 warehouses and add approximately 4,100 employees, bolstering DHL’s operational strength in Colombia. Open Market will focus on Brazil, while DHL emphasizes its commitment to providing reliable logistics solutions in the region. The deal is subject to customary closing conditions.
