Kuehne+Nagel has launched a 3,505 sq m healthcare logistics center at Frankfurt Airport to enhance its capacity for temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical and healthcare products. Located in Cargo City South, the facility features controlled room temperature storage, cold chain storage, and ultra-low temperature freezers. It is GDP-compliant and part of a global network of over 270 HealthChain-certified locations. This investment follows recent developments in Frankfurt, including the addition of the city to Kuehne+Nagel’s Boeing 747-8F freighter network and the establishment of a Cool Corridor for healthcare shipments.
