FedEx is enhancing its sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) procurement with new agreements aimed at securing over 20 million gallons of SAF across five U.S. airports by 2027. These agreements will support operations at Newark, Oakland, Miami, JFK, and Dallas Fort Worth airports, with SAF blends ranging from 30% to 50%. FedEx aims to source 30% of its jet fuel from alternative sources by 2030. The expansion reflects a commitment to decarbonization and is driven by incentives. FedEx plans to continue assessing opportunities for SAF use as the market evolves.
