Radia presents the WindRunner aircraft to revolutionize space logistics.

Ahead of the Air & Space Forces Association's conference in September 2026, aerospace company Radia is presenting its WindRunner™ aircraft, designed to address the urgent logistical issues in the space industry. As the largest aircraft by volume, WindRunner focuses on cargo volume rather than weight, allowing for the transport of fully assembled rockets and satellites directly to launch sites. Mark Lundstrom, Radia's CEO, emphasized that as space hardware grows in size, current transport systems remain outdated. WindRunner aims to enhance logistics efficiency, supporting rapid movement of large space systems while operating from shorter runways and existing infrastructure. The aircraft is expected to enter service in the early 2030s and will complement existing logistics networks.
