Freighter arrivals at ANC increased by 5% in August.

In August 2026, Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) reported 2,756 cargo landings, a 5% increase from the previous year and July. The annual freighter landings reached 30,809, up 2% year-on-year. The 747-400F was the most common aircraft, with 12,112 landings, followed by the 777F and 747-8F. Atlas Air led with 670 landings, while UPS and FedEx Express together had 896 landings, a 4% rise compared to last year. The average aircraft on the ground was 2.6 hours, highlighting ANC's efficiency as a transpacific cargo hub.
