Maximus Air's Antonov An-124 has arrived at Navi Mumbai International Airport.

Navi Mumbai International Airport welcomed its first Antonov An-124 "Ruslan" cargo aircraft on September 2, 2026, with 46 tonnes of cargo from Abu Dhabi. Operated by Maximus Air, this freighter can carry up to 120 tonnes and features a unique front-loading design that facilitates loading oversized items. The arrival of the An-124 marks a significant development in the airport's cargo operations, which began on December 25, 2025, following a series of milestones including the first freighter services by IndiGo Cargo and Hong Kong Air Cargo.
