APM Terminals has officially begun construction on the APM Terminals Laldia project in Chattogram, a significant USD 550 million Public-Private Partnership with Denmark aimed at modernizing Bangladesh's trade infrastructure. This state-of-the-art terminal, set to be operational by 2030, will enhance port capacity, allowing the handling of larger vessels and improving efficiency.
