SkyDrive selects Mumbai and Delhi for its eVTOL test routes.

SkyDrive, a Japanese developer of eVTOL aircraft, announced plans to evaluate operational routes for eVTOL medical logistics services in India, collaborating with Air India and Suzuki Motor Corporation. This initiative, stemming from a July 2026 Memorandum of Understanding, aims to address urgent medical supply transport challenges due to severe urban traffic congestion. The program will assess three primary use cases: transporting radioactive isotopes for cancer treatment, emergency medical and organ transport, and aircraft parts transport, focusing on improving logistics efficiency and reducing delays.
